tidma offers an easy-to-use site editor that allows you to create/ manage a site with just a few clicks with the help of pre-designed blocks. You don't need to have additional programming skills to enjoy the convenience and simplicity of creating websites on our platform.

Even though we offer more than 200 templates to our users, you can start your website from scratch by choosing the blank template. This option is suitable for those who seek maximum freedom in design. However, we recommend using the blank template only for advanced users who are already familiar with website development.

Learn how you can add blocks or elements to customize your site's layout below.

Getting started with a blank template

1- Sign up or log in to the existing account on our platform.

2- To start working on a site, click Create New in the top right corner of your dashboard.

3- In the new window, you can find all the available templates in our gallery. Click Blank website (advanced) at the top to proceed with creating your site:

4- Once you open the site's editor, click on Add Block.

5- On the left panel, you will see all the available blocks — they are divided into Essential and Additional.

It’s up to you which of the blocks you wish to add to the site and which you can skip.

6- Click on the block itself to add it to the site. If you want to proceed with customizing your block, see the article Changing the design of a block.

7- You can add additional elements to enrich the layout of your blocks — for example, icons, dividers, lists, etc. For that, hover over the block, click on the "plus" and choose the needed element in the pop-up menu:

8- Once you're satisfied with the blocks structure, change the content of the blocks in order to address what your company is about — change the text or insert your own images. Check the article Editing images to see how you can edit the images and adjust their display in the placeholder.

9- Don't forget to add the click action for the elements on your site. It will redirect your visitors to another page, web address, etc. To set it up, follow the steps in the article Adding links to elements (click action).

10- You can set up the color palette in the Site Style tab to define the main collection of colors for use in design. In this tab, you can also change the font of your text and customize the global button style. For that, click on the three dots near the Preview button in the toolbar and access the Site style.

11- Publish your site for the changes to be visible for the site viewers. You can still edit the site after it was published.

It's usually recommended to adhere to the general structure of the site to provide the best user experience for your visitors. Thus, the sites usually contain the top block — header — with the navigation menu, logo, language menu, etc. At the very bottom of the site, creators usually place a footer, which contains all the necessary contact information about your company. To collect requests and feedback from your future customers, you should place a contact/ lead generation form on your site.

It's up to you how you will further design your site — choose blocks to represent the services, the team, or the process of your work, add new pages, set up a video, etc.
